My presentation at the Perth Microsoft breakfast, on Friday August 28th, 2015.
The essence of my presentation was how critical it is that we realise transformation in classrooms will not take place simply by being connected to and utilising the internet. We need to interconnect our classrooms, our students, our teaching and the forums in which we ask students to demonstrate their understandings. If we accept that students constrain their thinking to the limits of the response required... then we have to inspire multi-modal, collaborative and creative responses from them. This presentation shows a series of photos which bring to life such a "virtual classroom" and the kids work. Microsoft Office 365, OneNote, and Skype for Business, are themselves interconnected to make such a context possible.
